🎧 1-on-1 Mix Review Session for Live Sound Engineers $125 – 45 Min (Zoom + Prep) Because your board mix should sound as impactful as the show felt. This isn’t a surface-level “sounds good” session — it’s an in-depth, honest, and constructive review designed for live sound engineers who want to elevate their craft. Whether you’re running FOH on a club tour, mixing monitors in arenas, or bouncing between gigs and festival stages, your mix deserves the same level of attention and care as a studio record. That’s what this session is about. You’ll submit 2 board mixes — from recent gigs. I’ll spend at least 3 days living with your mixes, listening across different systems (studio monitors, headphones, car speakers, etc.) to understand how your work translates in the real world. I evaluate your mixes the way I evaluate my own: from a professional, performance-aware, emotionally-driven perspective. Expect feedback on tone balance, vocal presence, instrument clarity, stereo image (or mono punch), effects usage, dynamics, overall cohesion, and how well your mix captures the energy of the show. I’ll also offer insight into technical consistency, transition handling, and how your work sits within current live sound standards. Then, we’ll jump on a Zoom call — typically 45 minutes — where we’ll walk through the mix and the notes together. This is a two-way conversation, not a lecture. We’ll talk about your intentions, your rig and workflow, your role in the team, and what’s next for your sound. My goal is to give you clarity, direction, and practical strategies you can implement right away — not just theory. Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy 📅 Booking Window Sessions must be booked at least 4 days in advance to allow time for proper mix review and preparation. 🎧 Mix Submission Deadline You must submit 2 mixes within 24 hours of booking. This ensures there's enough time for detailed listening across various systems. Late submissions may result in your session being rescheduled. 🔗 Upload Your Files Here Please upload your mixes using the Dropbox link below: https://www.dropbox.com/request/4xKFVHpILxtQ1N6BnLu5 For best quality, please upload .wav files. MP3 files are not recommended as they may not reflect the full sonic detail needed for accurate critique. 🔁 Rescheduling Policy You may reschedule your session up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduling within 48 hours of the session may be permitted on a case-by-case basis, but is not guaranteed and depends on availability. ❌ Cancellation Policy There are no refunds for cancellations. If you can’t make your session, you’ll need to reschedule it. Failure to reschedule in advance will result in a forfeited session. 🚫 No-Show Policy If you miss your session without notice, you will not receive a refund or reschedule opportunity. A new booking will be required. ⏱️ Late Arrivals If you're more than 15 minutes late, your session may be shortened.
